1. Learn the Background of the User and the Department

Before the interview, take the time to find out more about the user you are meeting. Understanding the user's background gives you an idea of what they value in a candidate.

2. Understand Your Role Deeply

Users will expect you to understand the responsibilities and roles of the job you are applying for. Re-read the job description, especially regarding the daily tasks, skills required, and targets that may be expected from the position. If necessary, prepare notes on your previous projects that are relevant to this position. Demonstrating a deep understanding of the role you are applying for will give the impression that you are ready and enthusiastic to contribute.

When users ask about your experience or achievements, they are looking for relevant concrete examples. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to deliver your answer in a clear and structured manner:

- Action: Outline the concrete steps you took to handle the situation.

- Result: Give the end result or achievement of your actions.

With this method, your answers will sound more professional and focused, while demonstrating your ability to deal with challenges.

4. Show Proactive and Solutive Attitude

In a user interview, companies want to see how you deal with problems and challenges that may arise in the job. Try to display a proactive and solutive attitude, for example by giving examples of when you found a creative solution to a problem or took the initiative in a particular project. This attitude shows that you are someone who is ready to help achieve team and company goals.
